We're looking for a Supply Chain Intern to join our team in Houston, Texas this summer!

·  Obtain Supply Chain Planning experience by supporting our worldwide Deal Engagement Process in the Demand Planning function.
·  Gain experience with HPE’s demand planning statistical forecasting models used to forecast customer demand and have the opportunity to influence and improve forecast modeling to improve the overall error goals and reduce material costs across the supply chain.
·  Generate reporting methodologies using Business Intelligence software and communicate Supply Chain goals and overall Metrics for improved performance.
·  Build an LVO Probability Model that captures bias by customer, by deal champion and by competitor among other variables. 
·  LVO Order behavior- Drive improved order behavior by Deal Champion where appropriate
·  Purchasing - Develop a unique strategy for long lead time components (supply) and HVC (E&O)
·  Managerial- Model output to be an input to the management approval process
·  Work with demand planning to understand their specific LVO needs and how to better visualize LVO data for their benefit. Evaluate process improvements based on findings.

Qualifications

Must be currently enrolled in a University Degree program with a focus in business administration, supply chain, or related degree
