Hewlett Packard Enterprise is seeking a highly motivated QA/Automation Intern to work in the San Jose, CA office. Our interns work on cool projects which directly improves our product and/or business.  They get to showcase their work to their peers and other teams in a supportive setting. 

Responsibilities:

Internships within the Nimble Storage Organization provide an opportunity to take up exciting assignments and projects, gain professional work experience and learn from professional mentors.  The projects in Data Services QA Team are in the areas file system, Protocols and Performance. We are looking for a bunch of wicked-smart, mad-talented students who are hungry to learn, grow, and make a difference on our fast-paced, energetic, and groundbreaking Engineering team.

Education and Requirements:

·  Must be pursuing a BS/MS/PhD in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering
·  Understanding of Computer Science fundamentals like Operating Systems, Computer Networking, Data Structures and Database systems.
·  Good knowledge/programming background in scripting language like Python/PERL
·  Knowledge of data structures, algorithms and multi-threaded programming
·  Ability to solve complex engineering problems in testing and tools.
·  Understanding for design, development and automated testing frameworks, tools & infrastructure to speed up the testing and deployment of software
