Job Description:

   

Hewlett Packard Enterprise Galway is one of the largest software Research & Development sites in the West of Ireland. We develop software solutions to automate the delivery of support to HPE’s customers across the globe. You will work in our new office in Galway which has a subsidised staff restaurant, on-site gym and active Sports & Social club.

We are seeking a Salesforce Engineer to join an Agile Engineering team working on transforming our customer experience. Our mission is to evolve HPE support into a leading services customer engagement platform, improve our customer's ability to manage their relationship with HPE via a simplified experience, increased personalisation and intelligent automation.

You will contribute to our migration to Salesforce to enable us to transform how customers interact digitally with HPE. You will collaborate closely with Product Management, Architecture and scrum teams to implement solutions using Salesforce. You will work a highly agile environment with a focus on continuous delivery.

 

Responsibilities

·  Develops high quality software using Agile techniques.
·  Drives best technology and software development practices into the team with a focus on continuous delivery.
·  Works with the team and the product management to understand, estimate and refine the product backlog.
·  Participates in regular demonstrations of new work to the product owners and business stakeholders

Essential technical skills and experience:

Other desired skills and experience

·  2+ years' experience with the Salesforce platform implementing full project lifecycle.
·  1+ years’ experience with implementing an Enterprise level project in Java, .Net, C++ or similar technology.
·  Proven expertise integrating Salesforce with other applications.
·  Salesforce platform development and deployment processes and related tools
·  Experience in building Visual Force Pages, Custom Objects and Tabs
·  Knowledge of Salesforce Lightening
·  Knowledge of APEX
·  Knowledge of Java, .Net, C++ or similar technology

Personal skills and attributes

·  Salesforce Certified Platform Developer Certification
·  Experience in Lightening components and development
·  Lightening Container, UX Builder
·  Lightening Flow including Process Builder and Cloud Flow Designer
·  Experience with CI/CD solutions

Education:

·  A BSc or MSc degree in computer science, engineering or mathematics
