About Q2C/CPQ Solution Architect

HPE Hybrid Cloud Software & Services is currently seeking highly qualified and motivated candidates for a “Quote to Cash” solution architect position for HPE GreenLake Hybrid Cloud SaaS solutions. The “Quote to Cash (Q2C)” space (a superset of Configure Price Quote (CPQ)) covers the lifecycle from customer awareness of a solution to trials, quotes, orders, order fulfillment, billing, upselling, converting, and decommissioning the solutions. As a solution architect you will define the processes, architecture, and technologies to support the lifecycle and work with the development teams implementing the solution. You will work closely with Product Management and Product Owners of various solutions to ensure their needs are met and their solutions support the full Q2C lifecycle.

You need to have a broad understanding of Q2C lifecycle, the aspects of delivering SaaS solutions, and integrations with corporate back-end systems. In this role you will be working with a set of architects on various aspects of the hybrid cloud which includes public as well as private cloud services. You will be providing strong support across the Q2C lifecycle, serving as the primary interface to other portions of the company (HPE IT,  Pointnext Services, Global Operations, supply chain, other solution development teams). You'll work with the teams spanning all of HPE to design and deliver our Hybrid Cloud solutions. We’re not learning a new way of doing things – we’re defining the best way to do them.

Job Description:

·  Design and deliver the Q2C experience for HPE GreenLake Hybrid Cloud solutions (from awareness to trials, quotes, orders, order fulfillment, support enablement, invoicing and upgrades, conversions, decommissions)
·  Collaborate with product management and other solution/service architects to ensure workflows are well understood and proceses are optimized where possible
·  Ensure UX meets needs of Enterprise customers as they explore and consume HPE GreenLake solutions, while abstracting and simplifying complex back-end processes.
·  Design solutions to automate back-end proceses over time, and co-develop with various partners
·  Collaborate with product management and product owner to ensure well-groomed backlog of features and stories to realize the Q2C roadmap and enable the development teams to effectively execute each sprint and refine as necessary.
·  Develop and deliver training and documentation for Customer and HPE interactions with Q2C solutions
·  Evaluate and influence Q2C related aspects of new solutions, adjusting roadmaps as appropriate
·  Active participant in cross-functional, cross-organizational efforts for integration, optimization, and new solution delivery, representing Q2C aspects
·  Serve as the key interface to HPE IT as the company evolves to EaaS, ensuring the corporate efforts support the HPE GreenLake needs, and customers benefit from a well-integrated solution delivering real-time results

Skills & Experience:

·  8+ years of working knowledge as a Software/Solutions Architect; 4+ years leading successful software projects related to Software as a Service (SaaS), CPQ, Q2C
·  Strong aptitude for understanding compex business and technical concepts, identifying connections and opportunities, and clearly communicating (using visualizations, workflows, diagrams)
·  Ability to define a compelling vision and roadmap, communicate with stake-holders, and collaboratively execute
·  Expertise in designing solutions, from requirements definition across many parties, to UX design, to development team implementation, through delivery (including training and documentation) and support (DevOps model)
·  Strong collaboration experience in working with product management and architects
·  Working knowledge of the quote to cash lifecycle, ideally with detailed expertise in several areas (e.g., sales process, pricing models, trial management, quoting workflows, order fulfillment, consumption tracking, invoicing)
·  Expertise in developing and optimizing process flows spanning multiple organizations
·  Familiarity with delivering Software as a Service solutions, micro-services, Kubernetes
·  Deep understanding of Enterprise customer needs and experience
·  Familiarity with public cloud Q2C lifecycle (AWS, Azure, GCP)
·  Hands on and passionate to continually learn new technologies and tools, define new processes, and be involved in projects pushing the boundaries of existing capabilities
·  Excellent verbal, presentation and written communications skills, with ability to develop materials appropriate for the audience (executives, program managers, product managers, POs, architects, development teams, operations)
·  Experience in a fast paced and agile environment and strong understanding of Agile Methodologies.
·  Experience integrating with corporate back-end solutions (ideally those for quotes, orders, invoices, customer success management)
