Principal Network Engineer (Aruba Customer Engineering) – EMEA Region

  

Job Description:

   

We are seeking a Principal Network Engineer to join the Aruba Customer Engineering (ACE) team of senior network engineers in the EMEA region. ACE is a dynamic and versatile global team working with major or strategic customers on complex projects encompassing multiple products and solutions within the Aruba portfolio. ACE engagement can span the entire lifecycle of a project, from pre-sales, deployment up to post-sales.

This position requires a person with in-depth understanding of complex enterprise and/or service provider network deployment models and with strong problem solving skills.

Key Areas of Responsibility:

· 
Providing technical pre-sales, deployment and post-sales support to sales teams, partners and customers for various technologies as related to Aruba products.

· 
Work on complex design or problems requiring in-depth analysis and troubleshooting skills.

· 
Formulate technical action plans for analyzing and resolving problems related to the Aruba deployment.

· 
Deliver on Aruba Professional Services commitments.

· 
Expected to show leadership and to mentor junior engineers.

· 
Knowledge sharing by developing documentation and cross-training materials.

· 
Influence future product/process enhancements.

· 
Work effectively in a multi-national team environment, including with colleagues, QA, product management and development engineers, and with the Aruba sales organization.

· 
Frequent travel to customer sites (50-75%). Travel varies based on time of year, software release cycles and new hardware releases.
