HPE is looking for a intern/co-op student to join the Canada Shared Services team supporting the Canada Centre of Excellence (CCoE). The CCoE is a briefing and showcase facility inside HPE Canada’s head office, in Mississauga.  This role will support technical sales requests and will work with an experienced Solution Architect to hone skills in supporting Enterprise solutions.

Key Responsibilities

·  Support the Canada Centre of Excellence (CCoE):
·  Assist Technical Lead with technical maintenance of centre. Duties to include helping with hardware/software installation, cleanup and other maintenance activities.
·  Assist with technical and business administration & planning related to the centre.
·  Support the Shared Services Team:
·  Has an understanding of Technology, including the fundamentals of Servers, Storage, Networking and Operating Systems.
·  Ability to proactively build and maintain relationships with solution architects (SA’s) and external partner SA’s.
·  Support Field SA requests with related technical requests and other field sales activities.
·  Takes ownership of each customer contact and effectively brings it to resolution.
·  Effectively analyses clients with technical questions, and provides accurate technical solutions.
·  Display an understanding of customers' business needs in terms of products and services.
·  Ensures that the client has a complete, comprehensive understanding of the solution provided.
·  Identify opportunities to improve the group processes and or tool enhancements.

• Applicants must be completing a 4 year University degree (ideally as part of a co-op program), in Computer Science including business courses.

·  Demonstrate interpersonal skills by developing, building, and maintaining positive relationships with others.
·  Capable of conducting fundamental Face-to-Face & technical phone/virtual conversations conveying product information and benefits.
·  Excellent communication skills are a must, with emphasis on listening, absorbing concepts, and relating the concepts to customers .
·  The ability to present complex messages through using advanced multi-media tools (excel/PowerPoint) .
·  Excellent time management skills.
·  Excellent oral and written communication skills.
·  Ability to develop working knowledge of configuration and reference tools used to support product sets.
