In a typical day as Presales Solution Architect , you would:

·  Be responsible for developing, designing and presenting solutions in the areas of: Datacenter Infrastructure & Technology, Hybrid Cloud environment (IaaS / PaaS), Cloud adoption plans and Cloud workload and transformation
·  Provide a global vision of the customer's IT with a specialized focus on technological infrastructure and automation
·  Use the new tools and methodologies, such as DevOps and containerization that enable customers’ IT transformation
·  Be responsible for delivering business value to customers by architecting effective information systems solutions that address the customer’s business problems, needs and opportunities, in a consistent manner with company’s strategic and business goals
·  Architect complex and custom solutions leveraging HPE product as well as market leader technologies
·  Be a leader in qualifying, developing and closing medium to large opportunities
·  Play key role in preparing technical complex proposals and bids for medium to large opportunities
·  Be able to articulate technical or operational problems or issues into understandable business terms
·  Cover a leadership role in business development activities
·  Manage internal reviews and contribute to Solution Opportunity Approval and Review (SOAR) process for medium to large opportunities
·  Develop and deliver sales presentations for medium to large opportunities

If you are…

·  Good at partnering, innovating, and making things happen. You are aligned to our core values!
·  Holding an University Degree in computer science or in other related fields and you have at least 5+ years of working experience within IT services and IT consulting sectors
·  Excellent in understanding datacenter virtualization technologies (VmWare)
·  Good in understanding public cloud computing (IaaS) and the main public cloud players
·  Acknowledged and experienced of container technology and its orchestration (e.g. Docker, Kubernetes, Swarm, Mesos)
·  A person with experience oin infrastructure automation (Ansible, Chef)
·  Aware of continuous integration and delivery main market tools (Jenkins) and software versioning tools (git, svn)
·  Able to understand cloud workload design principles in terms of multi-region and availability zones, and their impacts on RPO, RTO and related costs
·  A person with knowledge of modern data management systems (RDBMS, Big Data processing and streaming)
·  Willing to understand the future technology and operational trends in support to customer business requirements ('trusted advisor')
·  Able to understand customer's business problems, needs and/or opportunities and you are able to design an end to end technical solution appropriates to the issues and context
·  Able to lead the architectural design of medium to large business unit level IT based solutions (typically within multiple technology or specialty areas)
·  A person with knowledge and experience in Python, R, noSQL & IoT platforms, it would be a plus
·  Good in both written and verbal communication (both in Italian and English)
·  A candidate who shows high energy, plus you are flexible, self-motivated, trustworthy, friendly, dependable and experienced
