We look for an experienced Telco OSS Solution Architect to contribute and lead delivery projects, as well as support on business development and presales activities.
Solution Architect is responsible for delivering business value to customers by architecting effective information systems solutions that address the customer’s business problems, needs and opportunities, in a manner consistent with company’s strategic and business goals. Must have knowledge of architectural frameworks, methodologies, and tools and understand how to apply this knowledge to successfully deliver customer projects. Establish and maintain a professional working relationship at multiple levels both internally and with the customer by understanding the customer’s business context and their unique situation. Collaborate with both internal and external/industry experts to anticipate customer needs in order to facilitate the definition and development of the solution. Strong supporters of the professional development framework for their profession and use the knowledge and best practice derived from their professional associations to the benefit of their customers. Collaborate with project managers to ensure effective and efficient development, delivery, deployment, operation and support of these IS solutions. Collaborate with the account team to meet or exceed revenue, product, customer satisfaction and market share goals for assigned account(s).
Responsibilities:
· Define/propose/implement complex IT architectures and technical solutions suitable for different customer scenarios and needs
· Manage big size projects independently
· Develop detailed project plans and work breakdown structures for medium and large business unit level projects
· Lead big size technical teams
· Collaborate and/or lead technical presales activities, provides technical response to bids
· Develop for client technically feasible long-term IT strategies and plans
· Works closely with sales, product and support teams to evaluate customer requirements and designs technical solutions
· Designs, develops and executes demonstrations and Proofs of Concept
· Contribute to knowledge exchange: document and share within the team acquired knowledge around new solutions, project experiences, PoCs, etc.
· Strong communication skills, ability to present effectively
· Negotiation skills with customers and top management
Education and Experience Required:
· Industry experience: 7 to 10 years
· Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field
Knowledge and Skills:
· Deep understanding of Telco business processes and solutions, specialization on OSS
· Knowledge of OSS Fulfillment architecture/solutions: Services and Network Provisioning and Inventory, Services Orchestration
· Deep IT industry knowledge in specific areas
· Knowledge of network services topology (MPLS VPN L2/L3, FTTH/GPON, LTE/5G, IMS)
· Ability to work autonomously in the area of responsibility, under minimum supervision, with clear focus on achieving results
· Teaming skills: team building and collaboration, responsibility, attention to detail, adaptability, initiative, positive influence
· Strong communication and effective presentation skills, interact customer technical experts
· Customer oriented, Technology innovation oriented
· Advanced verbal and written English language communications skills
