Operator - International Security Operations Centre
Job Description:
Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) is establishing a new International Security Operations Centre (ISOC), covering operations across Europe, Middle-East, Africa and Asia Pacific.
As this is a newly established function, the successful candidate will be part of the operations team and play a key role in implementing the ISOC’s establishment plans. You are an energized individual with a sense of urgency, highly motivated and willing to work in a team, often operating and having to make decisions under pressure. The role is shift-based. You will exercise effective communications to stakeholders (writing, speaking and presenting) and policy and procedure execution. Specific functional areas of responsibility and adeptness include: physical security systems monitoring and alarm response (access control, CCTV, intrusion detection), employee travel safety and security and critical world incident monitoring and response.
Responsibilities:
· Provide effective crisis, incident and alarm monitoring and response support
· Assess all situations, identify root causes and address opportunities.
· Provide excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to recommend process improvement.
· Ensures alarm monitoring database and associated documents are efficiently maintained.
· Help to develop and implement enterprise standards and procedures guiding ISOC.
· Perform other functions as required such as listed in skills and abilities.

· Have experience and knowledge of various access control platforms, video management systems, crisis and geopolitical analysis and incident management applications/software. Experience using Lenel Enterprise OnGuard is an advantage.
Experience and Qualification:
· Knowledge of and ability to utilise computer office products, word processing, spread sheets, electronic mail, internet and databases
· Knowledge of state of the art security technology including access control & CCTV systems – an advantage
· Additional language skills (fluent reading, writing, speaking) is a significant advantage, with preference for French, German, Italian, Spanish, Arabic or Mandarin.
· Previous experience in a corporate security or IT command centre – an advantage
