HPE is seeking a High Performance Computing networking intern to help build and support the management network for the the Shasta super computing platform. The candidate accepted into this position can expect exposure relating to network scalability, network automation, software-defined networking on Kubernetes, Network monitoring, and basic software SDLC. Learning on the job will be required, but you'll have plenty of support.

Responsibilities:

·  Design, develop and test new features
·  Handle customer issue
·  Writing software to manage super computers
·  Help build and maintain the management network for the Shasta super-computing platform
·  Configuration of switches, process automation, and documentation of the platform

Education and Requirements:

·  Must currently be enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or related
·  Knowledgeable in networking fundamentals and switch configuration
·  Knowledge in Enterprise hardware
·  Basic knowledge of scripting or programming
