As a Junior Software Consultant you will be:

· Responsible for delivery of assigned tasks within the delivery cycle of a project. Understands a broad spectrum of HP technology in order to deliver part of a detailed technical design, which meets customer requirements. Tasks may include installing new systems applications; updating applications, firmware, and drivers; creating boundaries for as well as performing configuration and testing activities; applications programming for assigned modules within a larger program; assisting in the preparation of technical presentations and demonstrations; and participating in customer meetings..
· Works under supervision of technical lead and with customer nominated representatives to accomplish assigned tasks.
· Acts professionally with HP customers. Participates as part of a team and maintains good relationships with team members and customers.
· Participates in chosen technical community or profession, and regularly attends profession or community of interest events. Focuses on single customer. Contributes via assigned tasks on specific projects.

Desired profile

Education and Experience Required:

- Has completed or is in the process of completing a Bachelor degree or higher in computer science, computing, computer systems integration, computer security, engineering, or related fields
- Up to one year of experience in a relevant role or an internship

Knowledge and Skills Required:

- Excellent communication / customer service skills / Confident telephone manner - Able to communicate concepts with team and to peers.
- Excellent oral and written English communication skills
- Entry level knowledge of at least one of the following programming/scripting languages Java/C/C++/C#/Perl/Bash/Python/PHP or similar;
- Entry level knowledge of Operating Systems – Windows/Linux;
- Entry level knowledge of SQL
