Job Description:

   

HPE global IT is looking for a hands-on expert on Java technologies to support inhouse applications and their integrations. You will work on the Java applications and related technologies in the finance space, primarily tax applications. You will work with application owners, business analysts and support teams to ensure the assigned applications meets business requirements. This role is expected to work on transformational programs and operations. 

Responsibilities :

·  Tax technology transformation and maintenance - includes Java based technologies (Sabrix /ONESOURCE)
·  Performance improvement initiatives for the integrated systems by removing technical bottlenecks
·  Collaborate with the business analysts and outsourced service providers to support key tax technology platforms including but not limited to TR ONESOURCE, Taxware, Global Next (SAP technology), etc. Support the business processes around internal and third party tools used for tax audits and statutory requirements.
·  Perform system administration duties for all tax software. Additionally, ensure tax systems are compliant with company policy and regulatory requirements.
·  Drive the work of one or more system integrators on strategic projects, new capability development and operations support. Provide metrics to IT management on milestones and status updates.
·  Manage integrations with SAP and non SAP technologies

Requirements:

·  A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science or related field
·  Must have - 6+ years of hands on experience on Spring Boot, Linux, Hibernate, ASP, Weblogic technologies
·  Working experience on database technologies - MSSQL, Oracle, Mango DB
·  Experience in SAP integrations a big plus
·  Deployment knowledge in a multi-OS landscape - Linux, Windows
·  Domain knowledge in Finance and Tax is preferred
