Job Description:
Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) is recruiting a Hyperconverged Sales Specialist to join our highly successful and growing Sales team to focus on End User accounts via Channel Partners in the UK. The person required should have at least 3 years’ experience in Datacenter sales and should preferably be a graduate, although not a mandatory requirement.
The ideal candidate will have experience in selling solutions based around all aspects of the Datacenter including Server, Storage, Networking & Software technologies. The ideal candidate will have held such a role preferably in End User Sales although candidates with Channel Sales experience will also be considered.

The Hyperconverged Sales Specialist will:
· Drive Hyperconverged Sales across defined accounts/sectors in close cooperation with the HPE Account Managers and aligned Channel Partners
· Work to a quota & sales plan and forecast revenue in line with both.
· Work closely with Hyperconverged Presales people to develop and present innovative and differentiated solutions to customers.
· Establish a professional, working, and consultative, relationship with the client - particularly at the front end of the sales cycle – up to IT management level, by developing a core understanding of the unique business needs of the client within their industry.
· Formulate and expand solutions to generate additional service attachments and up-sell revenue.
· Contribute to building of the pipeline by generating leads and referrals and new customer opportunities.
Scope and Impact:
· Participates in general sales strategy; defines specific sales plans with manager.
· Independently sells a specific product/solution.
· Selling role may be transactional and/or demand generation focused.
· May work with and leverage external partners to deliver sale.
· May interface with any level in customer organization; focused mainly on specialist buyers, e.g. IT.
· Account size ranges; may work in a Small-Medium, Enterprise, or Corporate Segment; varied sales cycle.
· Carries an average size quota.
Education and Experience Required:
· University or Bachelor's degree preferred – e.g. in Math and/or Economics, Physics, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Network Engineering.
· Demonstrated progressive achievement, diversity of business customers, and higher level customer interface.
· Detailed knowledge of key customer types or customers on given products.
· Typically 2-5 years of experience in Datacenter sales in an End User environment although candidates with Channel Sales experience will be considered.
Knowledge and Skills Required:
· Demonstrated Datacenter Sales skills.
· Technical Datacenter capability to conduct customer engagements.
· Commercial experience to generate compelling offerings including CAPEX and OPEX models.
· Assesses solution feasibility from a technical and business perspective to determine \'qualify-in\'/\'qualify-out\' status
· Solid communication and presentation skills within IT at the manager level.
· Maintain knowledge of industry trends, associated solutions, and key partner/ISV solutions.
· Will regularly use Saleforce.com updating deal profile and forecasting accurately.
