Infrastructure Technology Outsourcing (ITO) is the largest line of business in HPE Enterprise Services. This business unit combines next generation global infrastructure, experienced staff, and products, services, and solutions to meet client technology challenges.
HPE is seeking an experienced High Performance Computing administrator to provide administration, application, and monitoring support for a big automobile industry customer. The hardware will be a specialized Linux cluster system and the candidate will be responsible for the maintenance, upgrades, configuration, and administration of the Linux cluster system.

In this role the chosen candidate will be part of HPC/Grid operation 2nd and 3rd level support team.

His/her tasks and responsibilities will be as follows:
· Performing operation tasks following ITIL processes:
· Incident Management (resolve complex incidents like restarting a complete cluster, providing guidance on lower criticality incidents)
· Problem management (investigate problem root cause like interaction between application usage and Linux)
· Change management (For example : Linux image update, OS and middleware installation or patching, script development & modification)
· Taking part to the on duty rotation (average 1 week every 5).
· Participating to Cluster deployment setup and testing projects
· Participating to HPC specific tools configurations and deployment
· Writing operation technical documentation for L3, L2 and L1 support team.
· Working with support teams and with Customer technical staff

Desired profile

In order to perform these tasks, the candidate will have the following profile.
·  Undergraduate degree in computer science, information technology, or equivalent.
·  Certification in Linux administration, RedHat experience
·  2 or more years experience in HPC Linux system administration including associated storage and network
·  Proven ability to work in matrix organizations and technical IT environments.
·  Demonstrated teamwork skills in a collaborative working environment. Ability to work remotely and be autonomous.
·  Well-developed customer relationship skill; ability to understand customers' needs and develop appropriate solutions.
·  Technical English, written and spoken.
