In this role as an Enterprise Architect (Hunting) you will be responsible to support HPE sales to win dedicated customers who are new to HPE.
In order to be successful the EA is an active evangelist of HPE’s capabilities, championing HPE’s entire portfolio of solutions through technical thought leadership with demonstrated business value. The EA engages with the prospects or partner on long-term basis across their entire enterprise systems architecture to identify new opportunities and projects.
The EA supports every aspect to make projects successful:
· Together with his sales counterpart defining the right strategy for every prospect
· Delivering the first presentation
· Identifying the right solution for the prospect.
· Involving the necessary ressources inside HPE
· Conduct POC’s and test installation
· Project management during the sales cycle

Tasks and Responsibilities:
· Understand the needs and strategy of the prospect and translate it into a HPE solution
· Support complete HPE Hybrit IT Portfolio and explain the value that it brings for the prospect
· Manage and co-ordinate the account technical teams ensuring that the overall strategy for the account is understood and aligned.
· Engage with all key stake holders and business decision makers within the account and build solid mutual relationships.
· Be seen as a IT Infrastructure expert by the customer and earn trusted advisor status.
· Based on account knowledge, develop and execute a disruptive strategy aimed at taking competitive share.
· Ensure consistency of messaging of HPE HIT strategy.
· Prioritize existing pipeline to pull maximum revenue into committed status.
· Discover latent projects that can now be bought forward via new technology and finance options.
· Drive and influence new RFP/RFI initiatives from the account.
· Ensure HPE Innovation is driven into target accounts with New Product Introduction.
· Share experiences with other team members aligned to all accounts.
· Maximize the use of HPE’s partners as appropriate to win new business.
Education and Experience:
· University diploma or Bachelor's degree in technical field of study
· Typically > 8 years of experience and 3-4 years of advanced pre-sales experience.
· Acting frequently as customer interface.
Skills and Knowledge:
· Is considered as an expert in knowledge of Data Center solution and service offerings as well as competitor's offerings to be able to design large solutions.
· Strong knowledge of current Cloud technologies Experience with common applications and virtualization platforms.
· Excellent presentation and communication skills.
· Hunting mentality to win new customers and market shares.
· Ability to work across a large, highly matrixed organization and collaborate with sales teams across the globe and in shared accounts.
· Ideally, have existing relationships with key partners and resellers in the regions.
· English and German language skills to business standard
