We are looking for an intern to join the Aruba High Touch Engineering group where you can work side by side with technical support engineers, project managers, and architects to develop and support Aruba end customers and the service components needed to support Aruba’s top customers.  This assignment is focused on Master graduates students that are ready to begin their career in the high tech sector.

You will be working on one or more of the following technologies:

·  Networking Platforms: Routers, firewalls, switches, wireless access points
·  Wireless systems and security
·  Languages: Shell Scripting, Perl, Python
·  Operating Systems: Linux and Windows.
·  Network Management: SNMP
·  Cloud and Software networking
·  Automated configuration and infrastructure management
·  Technical writing and customer facing documentation

Qualifications

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your school work/classes/research and/or relevant previous job and/or internship experiences.

Minimum requirements:

The candidate must be pursuing a Master's or a Ph.D. degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a related discipline with a graduate date of XXXDecember 2019 XXXX and beyond.

6 months experience in:

·  TCP/IP, LAN/WAN, Switching, & Routing
·  Understanding of Linux system administration and operating system internals

Preferred Additional Qualifications:

·  Wireless Network Design & Implementation, 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, WLAN, Wireless Mesh, RF,
·  Voice over Wireless, Security over Wireless
·  Experience in one or more virtualization technologies including OpenStack, container orchestration like Kubernetes or Apache Mesos, micro-services, serverless or functions
·  Prior experience with any of the cloud platform infrastructures such as Amazon Web Services, Google Cloud, Microsoft Azure, etc.
·  Writing application notes, white papers, design documents, reference guides and presentation material.
