Description :
Serving as an Internwithin Systems & Software Engineering at HPE entails working ontasks/projects in support of a research and development team to define andvalidate next generation networking solutions which integrate local areanetworking and wireless networking.
Responsibilities :
·Participates inimplementation and validation of network solutions which integrate multiple HPEAruba Networking product lines as well as 3rd party products and applications
·Participates in customersupport activities, processes and projects
·Customer scenariovalidation - setup and validation of solutions and integration activities basedon specific validation requirements
·Develops anunderstanding of software development, test processes and career opportunities
Education Required :
·At time of start, internshould have completed sophomore year of a high school program with the intentto pursue STEM or equivalent. Preferred GPA: 3.5 or higher.
Required Knowledge andSkills :
·Excellent analytical andproblem solving skills
·Ability to understand technologyand user installation guides
·Basic understanding ofSoftware Product Development Lifecycle
·General knowledge ofcomputer hardware and troubleshooting
·Good written and verbalcommunication skills
·Accountability andability to take initiative to solve problems
·Familiarity withnetworking hardware, configurations and debugging concepts
·Familiarity with aserver operating systems and network configurations
·Familiarity with Perl,Python, C, or other programming languages
