Responsibilities

·  As a Hardware Design Engineer, you will be a part of the Networking Platform Hardware design team, designing and validating next generation hardware for high-end LAN EDGE products.
·  You will be responsible in designing and implementing multi-core processor systems, conducting product validation tests and working cross functionally with other development groups.
·  You will also research and enable innovative solutions for cutting-edge designs, including filing patents and enabling next generation technology.
·  You will also be tasked to generate design documentations, perform schematic capture, design board layouts, perform lab measurements and verify leading-edge designs.
·  You will innovatively solve issues, drive completion of the project to schedule, and collaboratively network with other technical contributors. You will be owning all aspects of assigned areas, including verification. 
·  You will independently plan and schedule your own work to meet goals and deliverables.

Requirements

·  Must have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree inElectrical/ElectronicEngineering or related technical disciplines. 
·  Minimum 2 years of experience in systems design (integrated electrical circuit, designing complex circuit like servers, cellphone etc.)
·  Good knowledge and technical understanding of both digital and analog circuit design.
·  Board design experience with CAD design tools like Orcad, Allegro, Cadence and Hyperlynx.
·  Good knowledge and keen interest in high speed design, signal integrity issues and power distribution techniques.
·  Well-developed computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office with emphasis in Word, Excel & PowerPoint.
·  Outstanding interpersonal skills, with ability to work in teams, ability to work independently and make autonomous decisions when necessary, experience as a team player, and willing to take on a variety of projects.
·  Capability to build relationships with other functions, self-motivator and good listening skills, which will be essential with such activities as teaching teams and transferring knowledge.
·  Good oral and written communication skills, plus ability to read, comprehend, and explain engineering drawings and technical documents.
