Hewlett Packard Enterprise is seeking a Fullstack Developer in Fort Collins, CO, Houston, Texas, or Durham, NC. This entry-level college graduate will have a lot of fun getting their hands dirty with the latest and coolest Fullstack technologies available today including cloud, UX design, etc in a start-up mentality team focused on building really cool value-add apps for our customers. This individual works alongside and collaborates with other Engineers and Developers to develop all layers of software including Fullstack and cloud native applications, utilities, databases and web-related tools for SaaS based platforms and solutions. Contributes to the design, development, troubleshooting and debugging of software programs for software enhancements and new products.
Responsibilities:
· Collaborates with cross-functional teams, product and program managers, UX architects, and engineers to deploy innovative solutions to meet business unit requirements.
· Contributes and assists in maintaining internal, customer facing, and open source software across multiple languages and platforms.
· Identifies up and coming technologies and innovations to leverage within new software experiences.
Education and Experience Required:
· Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Interactive Design, or similar field of study.
Knowledge and Skills:
· Experience with one or more back-end programming languages - PHP, Go, Python, Ruby, .NET, Node, etc.
· Experience using Javascript libraries and frameworks such as Angular, React, Vue, etc. React experience a plus. NPM experience a plus.
· Experience designing and developing fullstack applications including API development and CRUD architecture.
· Understanding of container solutions such as Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift, etc.
· Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
· Experience with Linux based systems. Bash script experience a plus.
· Experience with writing tests and test driven development.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills; mastery in English.
· Ability to effectively communicate technical issues and solutions to persons of all levels of expertise.
· Documented experience with open source software a plus.
· Front end development experience for both mobile and desktop. Understanding of mobile-first approach.
· Experience with third-party APIs within a server and browser context.
· Understanding of open source strategies, contributions, collaborations and community participation.
· Thorough understanding of Git and version control.
· Hackathon experience a plus.
