About the Full Stack/ Front-end Web Developer

HPE Pointnext Global Shared Delivery is currently seeking highly motivated and qualified candidates for a role as a Full Stack/ Front-end Web Developer for one of HPE’s larger clients in the Irving, TX area. No relocation assistance available.

In this role, under the supervision of the Dev Manager and Architects, you will be responsible for the design, development and maintenance of web-based applications.

You’ll have the opportunity to work on the products we deliver and support, while gaining experience as a Full Stack/ Front-end Web Developer, which can lead to future careers within HPE.

Primary Responsibilities

As the Full Stack/ Front-end Web Developer, you will:

·  develop functional and scalable web-based applications based on design and UI/UX requirements
·  write clean, elegant, accessible, and performant HTML, SCSS/CSS, and JavaScript code
·  work seamlessly with architects and business stakeholders to translate designs/wireframes into frontend code
·  provide website maintenance and enhancements
·  create functional requirements documents and specifications
·  perform other duties as needed or assigned

Qualifications

Education and Experience Required

·  1+ year(s)’ technical experience
·  Bachelor of Arts/Science (or equivalent) degree in Computer Science or related area of study
·  Without a degree, two additional years’ relevant professional experience, for 3+ years in total

Knowledge and Skills Required

·  Must have strong HTML/CSS coding skills with experience in responsive websites
·  Ability to meet deadlines, communicate effectively and manage many projects at a time is a must
·  Deep experience with JavaScript and JavaScript frameworks, e.g. Angular, jQuery, React, Node.js, etc.
·  Up-to-date knowledge of current Web UI best practices and usability concepts
·  Expert level working knowledge of current HTML/CSS
·  Experience with any rapid app development platform like Oracle Apex
·  Previous development experience using REST Web Services, JSON, XML
·  Comfortable working with PHP or another backend languages.
·  Strong experience in PL/SQL, MongoDB
·  Familiarity in any webserver like Apache, Nginx and Linux
·  Responsible for interpreting and executing designs correctly, so the ideal candidate must be able to effectively communicate with the creative team and clients
·  Good understanding of Git , Altassian developer tools
·  Comfortable with frequent, incremental code, testing, and deployment
·  Ability to adapt to a changing and dynamic environment
