The Finance team at HPE provides world class decision support driving profitable growth and exceptional shareholder value through our commitment to operational excellence, people development, and innovation. We provide accurate and timely financial information meeting the company's regulatory and fiduciary responsibilities with unwavering integrity.

In the Finance division, our reporting and controlling teams are working on tasks like asset management, financial integration of mergers and acquisitions, as well as USGAAP-reporting. Our objective is to display all business activities in a financially correct and transparent manner.

Job Descriptions

The successful candidate will be responsible for all accounting and financial aspects of an assigned process or set of accounts

· Responsibilities include monthly accounting close and balance sheet reconciliations in accordance to the Company finance and accounting policy
· Monthly accounting close includes preparing and posting journal entries, analyzing financial statements and ledger activities, and written variance analysis
· This position will require interaction with the operations team and other financial organizations within the Company to drive process improvements, simplification or other ad-hoc projects
· Work closely with business partners to rectify exceptions and closes all gaps identified
· Maintain compliance with Company accounting policy and ensure consistent process across the region and globally

Desired profile

About the candidate

Required

Education and/or experience:

·  First level university degree with a focus in Accounting and/or Finance
·  Typically 2+ years of experience as a financial analyst
·  Experienced in more than one finance function

Knowledge and Skills

·  Basic understanding of accounting processes
·  Basic analytical skills
·  Good business application skills (e.g., Microsoft Excel)
·  Good communication skills
·  Good teamwork skills
