The Finance team at HPE provides world class decision support driving profitable growth and exceptional shareholder value through our commitment to operational excellence, people development, and innovation. We provide accurate and timely financial information meeting the company’s regulatory and fiduciary responsibilities with unwavering integrity.
In the Finance division, our reporting and controlling teams are working on tasks like asset management, financial integration of mergers and acquisitions, as well as USGAAP-reporting. Our objective is to display all business activities in a financially correct and transparent manner.
Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) is seeking a Finance Associate Intern (MBA) for Summer 2017 .
Assignments are based on business needs, candidate interest and skills. The summer program runs between 10-12 weeks, is project based and includes a final presentation with recommendations to senior leaders. The internship program feeds our full-time Finance Leadership Development Program designed to accelerate your career with Hewlett Packard Enterprise. Requirements:
· Pursuing full time Master’s Degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance or Economics
· Strong leadership capabilities with a global mindset
· Strong business acumen and ability to partner with business leaders
· Good PC and database knowledge and project/process management skills
· Results-oriented and champion of change
· Committed to quality and integrity
· High tolerance for ambiguity
· Self-starter
Knowledge and Skills:
· Strong understanding of accounting processes and principles.
· Strong analytical skills.
· Strong business application skills (e.g., Microsoft Excel).
· Strong written and verbal communication skills.
· Strong teamwork skills.
· Familiarity with financial statements.
Team : The Finance team manages the overall financial impact of organizational decisions and activities in order to improve HPE's business performance. Finance is a global resource shared by all parts of our business to help them become better managed and control their accounting flows.
