Field Planner within Supply Chain is responsible for ensuring material availability across EMEA field stocking location for all parts within assigned portfolio. He/She is accountable for sustaining and ideally improving the spare part availability while optimizing inventory levels.
Job specifics/responsibilities:
· Execute material order plan through planning tool to support HPE customer obligations
· Review and accept/edit planning tool stocking proposals on a daily/weekly basis
· Determine the best Target Stock Level (TSL) quantity to be set in EMEA field stocking locations by looking at historical demand, contract obligations, material master data, etc
· Responsible to achieve a balanced performance on parts availability, inventory level, executing actions to ensure quick recovery to off-goal situations.
· Provide root cause analysis and respective correction action plan of supply chain misses on daily/weekly basis, following detailed work instructions
· Perform root cause analysis to understand repetitive problems and identify permanent solutions
· Collaborates with internal/external parties to provide best customer support and operational excellence
· Explore and propose opportunities for systems & processes enhancement
Requirements:
· Degree in Logistics & Supply Chain Management / Business Operations / Maths / Statistics
· Preferably 2+ years of experience in planning or other supply chain role
· Strong knowledge in supply chain concepts, demand forecasting & materials planning
· Fluent in English language
· Ability to chase and deliver operational results, and to drive issues to closure
· Ability to communicate effectively across national and cultural boundaries
· Very good negotiation skills
· Team player with excellent communication skills
· Very good numerical and data analytical skills & ability to build management summary
· Risk management skills
· Good computer skills, esp. MS office applications (Excel)
· SPM (Servigistics) planning tool experience is a strong plus
· SAP system experience is a plus
