Job Description:

   

A Sales Development Representative (SDR) is the hunter of the sales team.  Hunting new opportunities for Aruba Networks across all industries and segments, an SDR’s primary objective is to deliver qualified meetings and early stage pipeline. By engaging inbound leads from field marketing, digital campaigns, regional sales events, partner-initiated leads, or self-prospected leads, our SDRs are Aruba’s growth engine and contribute directly to the success of the sales teams in their territory.

By leveraging Aruba’s diverse demand generation strategies combined with their own relentless self-prospecting, our SDRs convert leads to opportunities and assign them to Inside Sales, Field Sales, or one of our thousands of Partner Ready for Networking authorized partners.  Aruba SDRs work in our North America Inside Sales center in Portland, OR, and can advance their careers by taking on roles in insides sales, channel, operations, and sales management. What you’ll do:

·  Engage prospects using our structured cadence based on lead priority  
·  Meet daily outbound calling targets
·  Leverage social selling platforms
·  Respond to inbound calls generated by a variety of marketing programs
·  Meet regularly with Inside Sales, Field Sales, and Partners to plan strategies and review best practices for prospecting in the assigned territory
·  Lead and Opportunity follow up according to designed campaigns
·  Introduce Aruba’s portfolio to prospective customers and be the liaison between four important disciplines within the sales organization: marketing, sales reps, system engineers, and channel partners
·  Pass opportunities to the appropriate sales person
·  Schedule customer meetings for Aruba Inside Sales, Field Sales or Partners
·  Join prospects calls to conduct a warm hand-off to sales team
·  Using Salesforce.com track lead activity, convert leads to opportunities, and manage activity reports.
·  Adopt and use a myriad of techniques and tools to identify contact information on leads
·  Learn and apply the breadth of the complete Aruba Networks portfolio of solutions and products to customer and prospect opportunities

·  Strong interpersonal communication skills with the ability to convey them over the phone
·  Ability to conceptualize and convey complex technical concepts in a clear and concise manner
·  Professional drive and motivation
·  Creative and persistent finding ways to reach target accounts
·  An excellent listener and persuasive communicator

Your prior accomplishments:

·  Bachelor Degree or equivalent in any field (preferably Business or IT )
·  0-1 years of relevant work experience or equivalent
·  Various combinations of both experience and education can be considered
·  Customer facing experiences in person or over the phone

·  Exceptional written and verbal communication
·  Administer and maintain sales tools, systems, and online resources
·  Bilingual English/Spanish preferred (not required)
