Job Description:

   

DevOps Engineer/SRE

Experience level:

·  5 to 8 years Over all Experience
·  4 years minimum of DevOps/ SRE, Automation Experience
·  4 years minimum in Administration and Automation in Cloud (Amazon Preferred)
·  2 years minimum in Kubernetes Admin
·  2 years minimum in Monitoring and Observability

Job Roles & Responsibilities:

·  To Be responsible for architect, design, Implementation of deployments in various cloud environments with automation
·  To Lead a team of DevOps Engineers and mentor them and assist them technically
·  To Be responsible for Observability of various deployments
·  To be able to shuffle between tasks (day to day operational and manage programs technically)

Technical Skills:

·  Cloud : AWS – Networking, LBs, Autoscaling, VPCs, IaaS Services and PaaS Services – EC2, S3, ECS, EKS, MKS etc setup and admin (Scaling and Perf tuning)
·  Automation : Cloud Formation Templates, Terraform or similar, Automation – Chef, Puppet or Ansible
·  CI/CD : GIT, Jenkins, Artifactory or similar
·  Container Engine:  Docker (Expert level)
·  Container Orchestration : K8s Administration (Expert Level)
·  Container Registries & Package Managers : Quay or similar / Helm or similar
·  Monitoring & Observability : Prometheus, Grafana, Humio or Logtash, Fluentd or similar
·  Languages : Python or Go Preferred (optional)

C STAR, GDPR, OWASP Knowledge Preferred
