Travel: Limited local travel may be required
This is a client facing role where the Desktop Engineer will have to work with the customer at the client site. There are 6 members of the team located in Indianapolis, IN. This individual will be a Desktop Engineer reporting to a Delivery Manager and taking day to day directions from an onsite Team Leader.
DESCRIPTION
• Resolves incidents and problems to contractual Service Levels
• Adopts best in class service delivery processes and methods
• Brings advanced technical expertise to improve customer experience
• In depth technical support of a desktop solution, including troubleshooting and problem root cause analysis and resolution
• Uses proactive monitoring methods/tools to identify problem prevention and continual improvement opportunities
• Administrate any changes to asset information
• Handles customer problems promptly; escalate issues according to established procedures
• Develop and maintain customer and third party relationships
Desired profile
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
• Typically a technical Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is required
• At least 1 year of experience in analytical troubleshooting in a desktop environment or related education/certification
• Related experience with Software troubleshooting
• Very good communication skills (spoken and written)
• Disciplined and structured manner
• Suitable experience in similar/related role
• Complex problem management experience, preferably in a Multi-Vendor environment preferred
• Formal electrical/electronic qualification preferred
