Cyber Security engineers play an integral role in making industry leading ProLiant and Synergy products and solutions secure.  As a penetration test engineer at HPE, you will plan the penetration tests, select, design, and create appropriate tools for testing, and perform the penetration test on computer systems, networks, web-based applications. You will also document your methodologies and gather data to identify vulnerabilities and review findings with the stakeholders. You will analyze the outcome, make recommendations for security improvements, and help define and shape new industry leading security posture for HPE products.  The position offers the qualified candidate the opportunity to work in an exciting, high profile, team-oriented, and fast-paced environment.  The position includes keeping up with the latest in testing and ethical hacking technologies and provides excellent opportunities to gain a wide breadth of experience.

Experience and Knowledge:

·  Experience in performing security penetration test, and finding vulnerabilities in commercial software applications and demonstrating found exploits
·  Strong knowledge of software engineering concepts
·  Strong knowledge of information security architecture
·  Solid technical skills in penetration testing and ethical hacking
·  Ability to assess testing tools and methodologies
·  Proficiency in scripting and programming (e.g. Python)
·  Experience with security testing tools such as Kali Linux, MetaSploit, Burp, or ZAP
·  Excellent communication skills both in technical writing and presentation
·  Project planning skills a plus
·  CEH and/or OSCP certification desirable

Education and Experience Required:

·  Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent.
·  Typically 4-6 years experience.
