As a Container Platform and Automation engineer you’ll provide technical support and leadership in the end to end creation and delivery of container platform solutions for our customers. You’ll act as a trusted advisor to our customers, using your knowledge and experience in cutting edge technologies to deliver ground breaking results.

As a Container Platform and Automation Engineer you’ll make your mark by:

·  Designing, building and maintaining production ready enterprise container platforms and underlying infrastructure with good DevOps practice and automations tools
·  Work with collaboration with customers to design and build platforms to their requirements
·  Provide architectural design input and best practice to customer designs
·  Contribute to HPE blueprints for good platform design

About you:

·  You’re experienced in creating container-based solutions on an enterprise container platform (e.g. Rancher, OpenShift, Docker EE, Azure AKS)
·  You’re proficient with Kubernetes
·  You’re able to demonstrate a good understanding of the CNCF landscape
·  You’re proficient in one or more programming or scripting languages
·  You’re able to define solution architectures as code (primarily Terraform & Ansible)
·  You’re experienced in infrastructure engineering skills
·  You excel at working with a range of customers, in a truly consultative way

And desirable skills:

·  Experience with:
·  Docker image builds
·  Repository management (Docker & Helm based)
·  Logging, monitoring and alerting
·  Kubernetes cluster networking implementation
·  Kubernetes cluster storage implementation
·  Kubernetes security
·  Kubernetes Ingress and load balancing
·  Familiarity with CICD and DevOps practices
·  Familiarity with identity management basics
·  Familiarity with HA and DR basics
·  Familiarity with elastic provisioning and scaling
·  Knowledge of cloud computing infrastructure
