Job overview:
The HPE GLHC Software Development Engineer – Green Lake Hybrid Cloud Platform / Product(s) is a junior engineer responsible for building world class products for Green Lake Hybrid Cloud platform. The position/person is responsible for design and implementing a high quality software programs that fuel the manageability products for 3PAR. The position entails collaboration with peer engineers, documentation, to help realize the product and it's releases from conception to delivery. The engineer will have decent domain expertise in Cloud technologies and proficient with modern software programming languages (Python, Go)
What You'll Do:
Implement – you will code and test the Green Lake Hybrid Cloud software modules in the most secure, performant and extensible fashion. The code must render the management platform to be efficient and scalable. You will use REST standards and protocols in an efficient and unconstrained fashion. You will code to realize the functionality to be right, the first time, and unit tests will cover for 100% of the new code that you write. You will be responsible for the full code stack, and you will design and implement the User Experience layers for simplicity and make it intuitive (for users)
Process – you will embrace 'agile' methodologies and deliver within the constructs of an agile SCRUM team.
Our Minimum Skill and Qualification Requirements for this role are
BE/B.TECH/MS in Computer Science from leading engineering institutions in India/abroad.
Python/Go developer having 2-3 years of experience with hands-on coding skills
Knowledge of continuous integration in Cloud development environment
Knowledge of infrastructure automation tools including Git, Gerrit, CircleCI, SonarQube preferred
Design frameworks - REST based architectures, J2EE frameworks
JQuery, Javascript, HTML 5.0
Multithreading programming and debugging skill
Solid understanding of software development best practices, including verification strategies
Can work in Agile development process and should able to drive high standards towards quality of products being delivered.
