Job Description:

   

The HPE OEM Business is seeking a highly motivated, business development specialist to assist in the identification of new OEM design win opportunities and solve business inhibitors.  The OEM business development team global business unit based resources whose mission it is to develop strategic, high-value OEM business opportunities.  We create long-term HPE OEM value through customers, markets, and relationships.

The HPE OEM Global Business Unit is a fast growing team managing a rapidly expanding segment of HPE’s business.  We leverage the entire HPE product and solutions portfolio enabling OEM customers to build their solution on HPE’s best in class infrastructure platforms. We offer full or semi customization of our standard offerings which are then deployed in multiple industrial verticals and applications.  Leveraging HPE’s global supply chain and service capability, we are able to deliver and support customer solutions around the world, giving OEM’s global reach to grow their business. HPE’s OEM business supports customers at the forefront of technology enabling innovation in Artificial Intelligence, Cyber Security, Internet of Things (IoT) and more within multiple vertical markets such as Healthcare, telecommunications, video surveillance and manufacturing.

We are looking for an autonomous, self-motivated individual with a desire to identify and drive new business opportunities, solve business inhibitors and deliver excellent customer experiences.

Key Responsibilities

·  In-region resource focused on assisting net new business and design win identification, expanding and developing accounts with Geo sales teams
·  New workloads and segment research to support account based marketing
·  Lead cross-functional efforts to drive OEM solution opportunities
·  Engage with Geo teams as an expert in OEM embedded, integrated & custom offerings; regularly support individual customer opportunities
·  Customer presentations
·  Contribute to RFP responses
·  Long-lead regional opportunity pipeline management
·  Key performance indicator reporting / dash-boarding

Qualifications

·  University degree, recent MBA
·  3 - 5 years’ experience in IT provider environment with product management, business development and/ or sales experience preferred
·  Knowledge of IT Marketplace
·  Experience working in sales environments
·  Exceptionally strong analytical and strategic planning skills
·  Proven ability to communicate abstract ideas effectively and independently manage complex project objectives
·  Strong persuasive communication skills (written & verbal), leveraged in presentation & negotiation settings
