Hewlett Packard Enterprise is seeking a highly-motivated, Business Analytics Intern who can join HPE's Corporate Strategy Organization team. This position is located in Houston, Texas. This individual will be a part of HPE's Corporate Strategy Organization with specific focus on Market Intelligence.
This individual will work in a fast-paced, professional setting which will provide the intern with invaluable experience applying the knowledge and skills learned in school in a business environment. This intern will work alongside and in support of a group of world-class professionals in your chosen field of study.
Roles and Responsibilities include:
• Developing sophisticated sizing models
• Predictive forecasting
• Developing reporting dashboards to monitor market performance in the IT industry
Desired profile
Education and Experience Required:
• Currently attending a 4-year university or Completed an undergraduate Degree in Business Administration, Math/Statistics, Economics or Finance from a top tier institution; Working towards an MBA with targeted completion date within next 3 years and having completed at least 1 year thus far.
• Must have excellent communication skills.
• Outstanding proficiency with Excel, R, Python applications, all Microsoft Office Suite products
• Solid record of past work experience and/or participation in meaningful extra-curricular activities
• Must have Good teamwork skills and an ability to learn quickly
• Accuracy
• Ability to work independently
