The Healthcare Organization of HPE is seeking a Business Analyst - Healthcare.

Duties to include, but not limited to:

- Integral member of an Agile / Scrum Team working closely with the Product Owner to develop the Product Backlog

- Groom and Manage items within the Product / Release / Sprint Backlogs within designated tools

- Define and elaborate requirements depicted as Epics, Stories, and Features

- Communicate effectively with team members and internal / external stakeholders in order to realize requirements.

- Participate in design discussions

- Support SQA understanding of requirements

- Contribute to Release and Sprint Planning to maximize team utilization and support on-time Realization of Sprint Commitments

- Establish and maintain Customer Relations, so as to be positioned to influence the client and product owners in understanding operational details, solutions, and proposals. Becoming a trusted advisor to the customer.

- Work as a part of a blended team of IT professionals that is geographically disbursed. Serve as a trusted advisor to the project team and customer

- Actively participate in Daily Stand Up as part of an Agile / Scrum Team

Skills / Qualities:

- Working knowledge of and practical with Requirements Elaboration on small-to-medium scale projects

- Excellent oral and written communication skills. Ability to effectively communicate within Scrum Teams and with Product Owners

- Excellent customer relationship management skills

- Experience contributing to small-to-medium-sized, geographically dispersed (virtual) project teams through the entire

Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)

- Task estimation (LOE, duration, etc.), scheduling, and analysis

- Proven success contributing to projects using Agile Principles / Scrum Framework

- Ability to pro-actively identify, plan for, and mitigate risks at all levels of the project

Desired profile

Qualifications:

- Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) and/or working experience as a Business Analyst on Apps development

- Certified Scrum Master (CSM) and/or working experience or knowledge adhering to Agile Principles / Scrum Framework desired

- Experience supporting the VA or healthcare preferred

- Experience with VA VIP (and/or PMAS) / ProPath Guidelines preferred

- Experience with IBM Rational toolset, particularly the DOORS Next Gen Requirements Management, Team Concert

Configuration and Change Management, and Quality Manager Quality Management components

Education and Experience:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field work experience or certification

- Strong knowledge of software development

- BA within Federal Healthcare (i.e. VA, DoD) IT projects a plus

- Must be a US Citizen or a US Permanent Resident
