Good career opportunity for a young professional, intermediate level, to work as an integral part of GSD (Global Shared Delivery) Benelux Supply chain team, within HPE Pointnext, the newly redefined services organization of Hewlett Packard Enterprise.

A part of GSD, GSD Supply Chain, plays a key role for Hardware Support Services, meaning delivering spare parts at the requested location, date & time at the right cost level.

The Business analyst will be contributing to better innovations and improved operations for internal and external customers of HPE. By bringing some years of experience to HPE, this position is a great step in your career and offers a huge variety in projects, experience in various departments and a large network. As business analyst you are in charge of your own development supported by training and on the job learning on projects. In this role you will report to GSD SC Manager Northern Europe.

For this role, HPE is looking for a person whose main responsibility is to support the Benelux, to transition from a reactive incident driven to a pro-active business process improved situation by using strong analytical skills and proven quality methodologies, like Lean & Mean and Lean Sigma.

Main Responsibilities

·  Gather and analyse incident data of GSD Service Center in Benelux, combine them with data from reports and other sources of data 
·  Identify structural issues and present the findings to various key players, like GSD, GSD SC and HPE contacts in and outside geo
·  Initiate meetings structures to gather data, on various topics, like escalations, performance reviews, process improvements, customer satisfaction, etc.
·  Contact (incidentally) customers in the Benelux by phone, e-mail, chat to investigate and / or solve issues and / or escalations related to GSD SC.
·  Develop proposals for process improvements to address structural issues using quality methodologies, like lean & mean and lean sigma, together with GSD SC Area Managers, Local Vendor Account Managers (VAM’s) and Subject Matter Experts (SME’s) and other relevant parties.
·  Produce (standard) reports by using IT systems of HPE and 3rd Party Logistic services provider
·  Distribute reports and support SME’s and GSD SC Area Managers in managing day-2 day operations primarily in the Benelux and the rest of the Northern Europe.
·  Support GSD SC Area Managers and VAM’s in checking accuracy and consistency of the pre-invoices submitted by our 3rd party logistic service provider (3PL) for structural errors. Give feedback when correction is needed / improvement can be achieved.
·  Participate in a rota for visits to Benelux Forward Stocking Locations (FSL’s) for Wall-2-Wall counts and audits.
·  Perform regular reviews of various KPI’s.
·  Collaborate with country, geography and worldwide ops teams within PointNext GSD / GSD SC to maintain or enhance current business processes.

Education and Experience required

·  Bachelor’s Degree (HBO) in Logistics or equivalent experience.
·  At least 2-4 years of experience in a supply chain function.

Knowledge and Skills

·  Demonstrated understanding of supply chain processes.
·  Strong analytical and data modelling skills (defining & writing queries, etc.).
·  Proven developed Microsoft Office skills (Access, Excel, PowerPoint, developing macros, etc.) and other analytical aids to help manage the operation in the most efficient way.
·  SAP basic knowledge is required.
·  Developing Project Management Skills.
·  Self-starter, able to acquire the required level of knowledge and skills with minimal supervision and able to work independently.
·  Able to work under high pressure.
·  Customer oriented and committed to deliver quality using proven quality methodologies like lean & mean and lean sigma.
·  Able to quickly make the translation of acquired data from applications into operational events and vice versa.
·  Well-developed interpersonal skills and actively uses them during meetings to achieve the desired result.
·  Team player.
·  Demonstrates business acumen and technical knowledge within area of responsibility.
·  Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and fluently in Dutch.
