This role has been designed as ‘Hybrid’ with an expectation that you will work on average 2-3 days per week from an HPE office.

Job Definition:
Designs and develops software programs for new ASICs. Trouble shoots and debugs for hardware and software issues. Develops software in real-time operating systems, security, network utilities, IoT and Internet-related tools. Determines hardware compatibility and/or debugs hardware design.
High Level Definition :
Applies knowledge to solve issues and is open to learning new technologies. Has a tendency to contribute to the development of new ideas and methods. Works on complex problems where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of multiple factors. Acts as an contributor based on the guidance of the mentor.
Responsibilities:
· Works independently on a problem with guidance from a mentor, including solution design, analysis, coding, testing, and integration.
· Builds a professional relationship with the colleagues and is a good team player.
· Provides a demonstration of the work done in a public setting, including a poster presentation and Power Point slide deck.
Education and Experience Required:
· Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, or equivalent.
· Prefer 3rd year student. (Spring 2025 graduate)
Knowledge and Skills:
· Experience with C, Python and Linux Kernel drivers.
· Experience to read the ASIC designs and understand them.
· Experience working with Emulator and Simulator environments.
· Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills – think outside the box.
· Ability to write and execute test plans, debugging, and testing scripts and tools.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills; mastery in English.
