The iconic Hotel del Coronado is looking for a Housekeeping Office Supervisor to join the Housekeeping team! Join one of the last surviving wooden Victorian beach resorts in the world and after a $400M renovation and expansion, the resort is more stunning than ever.
Located on Coronado Island just minutes from Downtown San Diego, this 28-acre property was built in 1888 and has over 750 rooms, cottages, and villas with 65,000 square feet of banquet space, and 10 food and beverage outlets. This includes 4 restaurants, 2 bars, a food truck, marketplace, ice cream shop, and in-room dining.
Classification: {Full-Time}
Shift: Various – must be available to weekdays, weekends, and holidays.
Pay Rate: The pay rate for this role is $30-$33 per hour and is based on applicable and specialized experience and location.
What will I be doing?
A Housekeeping Office Supervisor is responsible for overseeing all office routines and supervising the Office Coordinators.
· Consistently model the company's core values and assist team members with all questions. Demonstrate a guest-driven service style with a sense of urgency in all interactions. Assist team members with any questions regarding Unifocus and time-off requests.
· Handle daily payroll edits and work closely with the payroll department. Close payroll on time every week. Input all schedules in Unifocus and maintain the attendance and corrective action records updated. Handle vacation requests and sick pay requests. Post “open” sections.
· Opens the house and monitors all coordinators.
· Handles schedules for classifications
· Audit and pays all invoices
· Coordinates bid sheets
· Order office supplies. Ensure all paperwork used by Office Coordinators are filled out properly and filed daily. Prepare daily overtime/early out reports for the department and review with the Director. Tabulate daily rooms inspections performed by the Leads and Mangers and review weekly with the Director. Update the office bulletin boards with all current information.
· Tracks Stay Experience scores and hand over information to the Managers to follow up with the Team Member/Lead. Supervise the Office Coordinators and streamline all procedures on both shifts. Handle the incentives for the department and record keeping. Follow up with Security on safety reports and accidents. Handle the vacation bids and post once approved by the Director. Monitor the training hours for new hires.
