The Property

One of the largest resorts in the Middle East, Hilton Salwa Beach Resort & Villas is an unparalleled destination offering world-class facilities and bespoke services for today’s luxury leisure travelers. Sprawling across 3.5 kms of prime coastline, the resort offers 361 accommodations, the largest water park in Qatar- Desert Falls Water and Adventure Park, more than 20 restaurants showcasing global flavors, a beach club, swimming pools, a marina, luxury spa and a health club.

The Role

This exciting Hotel Manager position will be responsible for managing the hotel operations, the Hotel Management team, and ensuring to deliver on hotel targets, to deliver an excellent Guest and Team Member experience while managing profitability and meeting our Owners expectations.  

What will you be doing?

Specifically, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

·  Manage and lead the lead hotel operation.
·  Manage ongoing profitability of the hotel, ensuring revenue, guest satisfaction and Team Member engagement goals are met and exceeded.
·  Lead in all key property issues including capital projects, customer service, and refurbishment.
·  Ensure all decisions are made in the best interest of the hotel and Hilton.
·  Deliver achievable hotel budgets and set other short- and long- term strategic goals for the property.
·  Provide exceptional leadership to hotel Team Members focusing on Hilton culture and values.
·  Lead in all aspects of business planning.
·  Comply with and exceed Hilton Brand Service Standards.
·  Ensure costs are controlled.
·  Manage and develop the Hotel Team to ensure career progression and effective succession planning within Hilton.
·  Hold regular briefings and communication meetings with the HOD team.
·  Respond to audits to ensure continual improvement is achieved.

What are we looking for?

The ideal candidate will possess excellent leadership skills with a strong focus on Operations, Guest Experience and Team Member engagement. Enthusiastic and passionate, you will ideally have current experience as a Director of Operations or Hotel Manager within a similar hotel resort environment.

A Hotel Manager serving Hilton brands is always working on behalf of our Guests and working with other Team Members. To successfully fill this role, you should maintain the attitude, behaviors, skills, and values that follow:

·  An Established Director of Operations or Hotel Manager with strong operational experience in Rooms and/or F&B.
·  Solid international brand experience in a luxury resort environment is preferred.
·  Extensive multi-cultural experience, adept at working with diverse teams and customers.
·  Strong ability to collaborate and foster networks and relationships, with owners, contractors, corporates, and Tour Operators – must be highly visible.
·  Sound experience in delivering innovative commercial opportunities with experience in increasing profitability especially within Resorts.
·  Dynamic and proactive approach with solid experience as an agent of change.
·  Strong people leadership and retention of talent with the ability to bring a team together on a journey and instilling the Hilton culture and values.
·  Strong stakeholder/owner relations experience with strong influencing skills.
·  Ability to show resilience, judgement and leadership.
·  Experience managing budgets, revenue proposals, and forecasting results in a similar resort style property.
·  Proven experience in delivering results with an eye for details and quality.
·  Experience in GCC will be an advantage.
·  Degree or diploma in Hotel Management or equivalent.
·  English language mandatory, Arabic would be an advantage.
