Description

The Gym Trainer will be responsible for guiding members through personalized workout programs, providing expert advice on fitness, and ensuring a safe, motivating, and supportive gym environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for fitness, excellent communication skills, and a desire to help others achieve their fitness goals.

What are we looking for?

A Gym Attendant serving Hilton brands is always working on behalf of our Guests and working with other Team Members.

 

-          Conduct Personal Training Sessions: Design and implement customized workout programs based on members’ fitness levels, goals, and any physical limitations.

-          Demonstrate Proper Exercise Techniques: Educate members on correct form and technique to ensure a safe and effective workout.

-          Evaluate Fitness Levels: Conduct fitness assessments for new members and reassessments for ongoing clients to track progress and adjust workouts as necessary.

-          Provide Fitness Education and Guidance: Offer advice on exercise, nutrition, and lifestyle habits that support a healthy lifestyle.

-          Lead Group Classes (Optional): Lead or assist with group exercise classes such as HIIT, cardio, strength training, or flexibility classes, if needed.

-          Monitor Member Safety: Ensure gym safety by overseeing the use of gym equipment and providing spot assistance when necessary.

-          Maintain a Clean and Organized Workout Space: Ensure that the gym is tidy, equipment is in good working condition, and all areas are safe for members.

-          Motivate and Encourage Members: Provide positive reinforcement and motivation to members, helping them stay on track and energized.

-          Stay Updated on Fitness Trends: Continuously enhance knowledge of fitness industry trends and integrate best practices into training.

-          Qualifications:

-          Certification in Personal Training: CPR/First Aid certification and accredited personal training certifications (e.g., NASM, ACE, ACSM) required.

-          Experience in Personal Training or Coaching: Minimum of [1-2] years of experience in a gym setting or personal training environment.

-          Strong Communication Skills: Ability to communicate clearly, motivate clients, and provide constructive feedback.

-          Knowledgeable in Fitness and Nutrition (desirable): Strong understanding of exercise science, nutrition, and health principles.

-          Friendly and Professional Attitude: Positive, approachable demeanor with a focus on customer service.

-          Physical Stamina: Must be physically capable of performing and demonstrating exercises as well as assisting clients with their routines.
