The iconic Hotel del Coronado is looking for a  Guest Services Supervisor to join the team! Join one of the last surviving wooden Victorian beach resorts in the world and after a $400M renovation and expansion, the resort is more stunning than ever. 

Located on Coronado Island just minutes from Downtown San Diego, this 28-acre property was built in 1888 and has over 750 rooms, cottages and villas with 65,000 square feet of banquet space, and 10 food and beverage outlets. This includes 4 restaurants, 2 bars, a food truck, marketplace, ice cream shop, and in-room dining.

Classification: Full-Time

Shift: Various – must be available to weekdays, weekends, and holidays.

Pay Rate:  The pay rate for this role is $25 and is based on applicable and specialized experience and location.

What will I be doing? 

The Guest Services Supervisor is responsible for supervising the day to day operations of Guest Services and Bell Services to ensure they are in alignment with guest expectations and established performance standards. This supervisor will act as an ambassador for the hotel at all times. Promotes service excellence and enhancement opportunities to our guests and completes other duties as assigned.

·  Directly oversee and support valet, bell, front desk and overall parking and transportation operations. Resolve team member and guest inquiries and complaints
·  Guest Service team auditing, record keeping, stat tracking and procedural monitoring. Supply inventory tracking. Coach and train team members and complete daily Stay Experience and Guest Assistance responses.
·  Monitor and respond to communications (emails, texts, phone calls and in person).
·  Assist with VIP reservations full cycle: pre-arrival, arrival, during stay and departure 
·  Participate in internal and external meetings as determined by Guest Services Management. i.e. departmental meetings, operational pre-shifts, summit meetings, resume meetings, etc.
·  Must have a valid California Driver's License
