The iconic  Caribe Hilton  is looking for their next General Storeroom Keeper to join their team.

Located on a beautiful peninsula in San Juan, Puerto Rico, it is a vibrant destination beach-front resort! Sitting on 17 acres of tropical landscape, the resort is just a short distance from Old San Juan, the vibrant Condado district and the Puerto Rico Convention Center. Featuring a picturesque ocean-side boardwalk, 652 guest rooms and 65,000 square feet of meeting space.

We are searching for a team player and someone who is productivity driven to provide a high quality of service to our team. The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of Purchasing experience and be bilingual. Union experience is a plus!

 

Shift Pattern:  Flexible schedule required. Rotating shifts throughout the week.

Pay Rate:  $17.89 per hour

What will I be doing?

As General Storeroom Keeper, you will run the daily operation of the general storeroom to include placing supplies on designated areas, rotating stock, maintaining an optimal goods inventory and issuing and delivering products/supplies to departments. Specifically, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

·  Organizes merchandise according to stablished standards
·  Meets hotel Health and Safety Standards
·  Carry out inventories with Controlling procedures
·  distributes and delivers products from the warehouse to departments
·  keep storeroom area tidy and clean
·  monitor recycling containers and schedule pick-ups accordingly 
·  maintain an open communication channel between management, guests and with departments

·  hospitality experience preferred
