As the Assistant Director of Sales you will assist and act in the absence of the Director of Sales/Marketing to develop and execute strategic sales and marketing plans and initiatives to maximize hotel service and profitability.   What will I be doing?

·  Plan, direct, organize and control departmental activities such as telemarketing, outside sales calls, conducting tours, entertaining clients, developing and soliciting new leads, presenting and preparing written CFS proposals and contracts.
·  Supervise sales staff through account review, correspondence review, Delphi maintenance and coaching toward improvement
·  Gather, organize and disseminate both written and verbal information regarding the specific requirements of clients events to the appropriate departments and individual clients in a prompt, accurate, profitable, pleasant, and professional manner. This is to be accomplished in English using proper grammar.
·  Develop target lists and action plans for account solicitation.  Assist in assignment and distribution of leads.  Provide guidance in prospecting and qualifying potential leads.
·  Travel to represent hotel in field trips and at trade shows as specified in the market plan.  Set up exhibits involving bending, stooping, lifting and reaching overhead.
·   Assists and acts in the absence of the Director of Sales/Marketing to develop and execute strategic sales and marketing plans and initiatives to maximize hotel service and profitability. Manages and solicits a designated market. Organizes and supervises

Compensation

The salary range for this position is between 110K - 130K/year and is based on specialized experience and location.
