Job Description Summary
The SFL is responsible for activities related to Suppliers promise integrity (purchase orders fulfillment). He/She is also responsible, from a delivery point of view, for the Suppliers risk mitigation and support the Supplier Assessment team in improvement plans execution in case of issue, in particular in this role he/she shall guarantee on time delivery for critical parts impacting the plants performances, KPI monitoring and improvement through action plans, Customer Impact avoidance, delinquency level reduction, minimizing inventory jointly working with the MRP planners.In case of issue will collaborate and coordinate actions plans for improvement working both with supplier and internally with Supplier Quality Engineer/ Engineering team /Plants / Finance to enable resolution.
The SFL owns: the delivery recovery plans ( GW) and the Supplier’s delivery KPI.
Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities
- Ensure timely deliveries on contract requirements– Short term view including equation requests
- Resolve delivery issues
- Supplier say/do responsible on customer impact materials (1st escalation point)
- GW creation and Management
- Enable communication with Quality, Engineering, Plants, Finance and Commodity to resolve delivery Issues
- KPI monitoring, analysis, reconciliation with supplier and improvement recovery actions
- On site visit @ suppliers when necessary
- Input material and WIP control
- WIP control
- Order book review
- Enable communication with Quality, Engineering, Plants, Finance and Commodity to resolve delivery Issues
- Give support for CID introduction (e.g. POE definition)
- Good knowledge of written and spoken English
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in technical subject from an accredited University a high school diploma with compensating work experience in the subject matter
- Knowledge of the sourcing field and significant experience in Procurement/Material planning/Fulfillment roles, Fluent English, EU work permit
- Strong oral and written communication skills,
- Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems.
- Attitude to work in a cross-functional teamwork environment, Strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to document, plan, and execute programs.
- Previous experience in Sourcing or in material planning
- work Visa in accordance with local regulation is required
Desired Characteristics
- Master degree is preferred.
- Project management skills.
- Oracle or SAP MRPs knowledge,
- Previous experience in Aerospace.
- Experience in manufacturing of Aerospace components.
