The Senior Quality Leader will act as the primary point of contact for customer quality concerns and issues, ensuring timely resolution of customer complaints and effective implementation of corrective actions. In this role, you will monitor customer satisfaction and drive initiatives to improve overall quality performance.

The Leader will work directly with the quality assurance team to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements, develop and implement quality management systems and processes, and foster a culture of continuous improvement and quality excellence. In addition, the role will identify opportunities for process improvement and apply lean manufacturing principles to enhance efficiency and quality, conduct root cause analyses, implement corrective actions to resolve quality issues, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive process improvements and standardization. The leader will also ensure compliance with all relevant quality standards, including ISO, AS9100, and other aerospace-specific regulations; prepare for and lead internal and external quality audits; and maintain documentation and records in accordance with regulatory requirements.

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

·  Customer Focus:
·  Act as the primary point of contact for customer quality concerns and issues.
·  Ensure timely resolution of customer complaints and implementation of corrective actions.
·  Monitor customer satisfaction and implement initiatives to improve quality performance.

·  Quality Assurance Leadership:
·  Lead the quality assurance team to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
·  Develop and implement quality management systems and processes.
·  Foster a culture of continuous improvement and quality excellence.

·  Process Improvement:
·  Identify areas for process improvement and implement lean manufacturing principles to enhance efficiency and quality.
·  Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to resolve quality issues.
·  Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive process improvements and standardization.

·  Compliance and Audits:
·  Ensure compliance with all relevant quality standards, including ISO, AS9100, and other aerospace-specific regulations.
·  Prepare for and lead internal and external quality audits.
·  Maintain documentation and records in accordance with regulatory requirements.

Required Qualifications

·  Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university or college (or a high school diploma/GED with a minimum of 15 years of experience within manufacturing quality)
·  Minimum of 5 years of experience within a manufacturing environment
·  Minimum of 5 years of experience leading people
·  Minimum of 2 years of experience interfacing with Customers
·  Minimum of 5 years of experience in manufacturing quality

Additional Information

Preferred Qualifications

·  Master’s degree in Engineering or a related field
·  Prior working experience in the Aerospace industry
·  Certification in quality management (e.g., Six Sigma, ASQ Certified Quality Engineer)
·  Experience with advanced quality tools and techniques (e.g., FMEA, SPC, MSA, PPAP, APQP)
·  Strong knowledge of quality standards and regulatory requirements (e.g., ISO 9001, AS9100)
·  Proven experience with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies
·  Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
·  Strong leadership and team management abilities
