Job Description Summary
The Senior Parts Services Manager - Motors will be responsible for the financial and operating performance of a $3M+ product line within GEH Parts –Motors segment, including Large Motors, Parts, and Services. The role incudes products solution development, product sales, orders management and establishing tactical execution plans to drive sustainable growth focused on product delivery, Sales, Margins, Growth, On Time Delivery, and Forecasting for both Orders and Sales.
Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities:
· Deliver on business metrics – sales, on time delivery, orders, new product introduction roll-out
· Provide indirect leadership/guidance of a multi-functional team including engineering, sourcing, quality, manufacturing, and supply chain for product delivery and development
· Develop New Product solutions / ideas to address product performance and obsolescence issues
· Effectively work with the Plant Modifications, and Outage Services teams to develop comprehensive solutions for customer Motors and Motor Parts
· Participate in relevant industry conferences, support sales efforts with customers, and develop effective relationships with product suppliers
· Identify and close sales opportunities, develop forecasts for product line sales and margin, and develop resource plans for product line delivery and New Product Introduction (NPI) efforts
· Commercial delivery, pricing, positioning, branding, marketing input, resource management, budgeting, and overall effectiveness of the operations of the product line
· Develop new services portfolio where possible
· Interface with NPP team managing new opportunities incorporating technology that transcends NPP to services
· Ensure operational excellence in the areas of integrity, quality, controllership, and compliance
· Metrics for the Product Line Leader – Motors include but are not limited to the following: Orders, Sales, CM, OM, Cash, ITO, OTD, NPS, NPI, Escaping Defects, Cost of Quality
Required Qualifications:
· Bachelors Degree in Business, Engineering, Technology, Business OR High School Diploma / GED with a minimum of five (5) years professional experience in Large Electric Motors and other rotating equipment
· 5+ years of Program Management / Project Management experience
· 3+ years of experience interfacing at all levels within customer organizations
· 3+ years of previous parts sales experience
Eligibility Requirements:
· The preferred work location for this role is at the GEH Headquarters in Wilmington, NC; but highly qualified (US based) remote candidates will be considered.
Desired Characteristics:
· Basic financial knowledge in revenue, income statement, balance sheet, cash, inventory, OM, and CM
· BS NE, ME, or EE degree and experience with the delivery of Nuclear related products and services
· New Product Introduction experience
· Proven leadership capabilities with ability to motivate others and achieve results
· Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
· Strong oral and written communication skills
· Demonstrated computer skills
· Strong customer service mindset
· Demonstrated self-starter
The base pay range for this position is $104,200-138,900. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate's experience, education, and skill set. This position is also eligible for bonuses, such as a performance bonus/variable incentive compensation/equity. This position is expected to close on 7/3/2025.
The company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120%, or 130% of salary in certain areas.
