Overview

The Specialist, Learning & Development will play a critical role in building the capability of our store and non-store teams across EMEA, through the delivery of best-in-class learning solutions.

Foot Locker, Inc. prioritizes a blended approach to learning so this role will require facilitating in person and virtual training as well as designing and developing e-learning content through the Company’s learning and communication platform. This position requires the production of high quality, scalable learning experiences that drives a culture of learning and ensures the long-term effectiveness and adoption of training programs. The Specialist, Learning & Development will report to the Director, Talent for EMEA and will have close partnership to Human Resource Leadership and the Global learning Team.

Responsibilities

·  Assist the Director, Talent to evaluate and recommend best training practices to support the business’ needs.
·  Develop engaging learning materials including, but not limited to, videos, e-learning, instructional aids, presentations, storyboards, instructor-led workshops, etc. Coordinate with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) as needed.
·  Apply adult learning theories, instructional design systems, and creative approaches to write and develop programs that achieve objectives and meet the needs of your audience.
·  Facilitate (in person and/or virtually) training programs for employees; Organize training venues and logistics as required to achieve efficient training attendance and delivery.
·  Provide training (Train the Trainer) for HR partners and (SMEs) to help conduct and sustain necessary learning.
·  Manage administrative responsibilities of our Global Learning Platforms, including developing and uploading content, content translation, reporting, troubleshooting helpdesk of learning, performance, and empowerment.
·  Utilize project management fundamentals to build detailed and attainable project plans that include tracking, milestones, deliverables, and communication/review cadences.
·  Conduct ongoing audits of existing curriculum to ensure format or content changes/updates are completed in a timely manner.
·  Through collection of data, survey and team member sentiment, measure and provide feedback on the effectiveness and ROI of the training deliverables.
·  Champion a culture of learning, performance, and empowerment.
Qualifications

·  Prior L&D experience required – preferably in an international environment.
·  Strong Experience with designing and evaluating training programs / Instructional Design.
·  Strong written and verbal communication, collaboration, facilitation and presentation skills.
·  Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and projects in a fast-paced environment and deliver within given deadlines.
·  Organized and detail oriented.
·  Highly proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Powerpoint, Word, Excel, Teams, Forms, etc.) and Virtual instructor led platforms (Adobe Connect).
·  Experience with Canva and video editing software, such as Powtoon, Adobe Premier Pro, Camtasia or Final Cut Pro.
·  Ability to travel as needed.
