Job description

Ernst & Young’s Transaction Advisory Services (TAS) practice provides professional services relating to all aspects of the transaction lifecycle, from pre-close due diligence to post-close integration. Capital Transformation (CT) is a service line within TAS that includes the following businesses: Valuation & Business Modeling, Operational Transaction Services, Transaction Real Estate, Working Capital Advisory Services, Restructuring Advisory Services, Lead Advisory, and Project Finance.

 

Position Overview

The individual will work with the Valuation & Business Modeling (VBM) team for the West Coast on a variety of activities supporting the growth and administration of the VBM practice. The individual will team collaboratively with others (both within VBM and CT) to research and obtain information required for assigned projects tasks. 

 

Responsibilities

Responsibilities of the position include assisting with a variety of management planning and reporting tasks that span several areas of the VBM practice, including:

 

·  Assist the staffing coordinators with collecting availability data for new engagements and participating in the weekly staffing meeting
·  Assist account teams to manage work papers, engagement open and close processes, engagement letters, and tracking collections
·  Update engagement databases for new opportunities as well as backlog status
·  Ability to conduct research as needed
·  Ability to conduct proofreads as needed
·  Manage special projects
·  Monitor various project management activities and provide regular and ad hoc project updates.
·  Client service activities, requiring communication with EY client serving professionals.
