The End User Technology Experience requires a seasoned Technology Architect to provide strategic guidance on New Technology evaluation, facilitate strategy development, provide trusted advice to Product managers and lead Microsoft Cloud adoption. Candidate must be a self-starter with Enterprise Architecture experience and provide RISK/Technical architecture leadership.

The Technology Architect works closely with Product Managers to lead the development of strategies, roadmaps, technology standards and target architectures.
·
Leverage the business strategy to develop technology strategies, architectures, roadmaps and investment plans.
Essential Functions of the Technology Architect:
·
Develop the architectural blueprints which includes identification of directional candidate technologies for adoption, and ensuring services work seamlessly together
·
Develop target architectures ensuring that integration points of end user technology services and other related services (e.g. authentication, network) are consistent, scalable and robust
·
Coordinate the development of future state roadmaps based on technology vendor roadmaps, target user experience and the evolution of how or people work
·
Leverage current information security disciplines coupled with industry standards to ensure integrity and confidentiality of the function’s services.

Partner with other architects and work closely with Product Managers to facilitate the evaluation and selection of hardware, cloud service, software technology and product standards.

Represent the function on architecture working groups that are inclusive of other EWT, CT and Info Sec functions
·
Develop integrated roadmaps across technology domains
Knowledge and Skills Requirements:
·
Experience in defining and establish IT architecture governance structure including the Design Authority roles/responsibilities, tools and procedures.
·
History of working credibly with senior stakeholders (Executives, Sr. Management and C-suite)
·
Adapts personal communication style to the style of others, develops rapport and stays calm under pressure or escalating issues using advanced oral and written English communication skills.
·
Experience in developing of future state roadmaps based on technology vendor roadmaps, target user experience and the evolution of how or people work
·
Ability to work with people in a variety of cultures, countries and time zones
·
Experience working closely with Product Managers to facilitate the evaluation and selection of hardware, services and software technology and product standards.

Demonstrate excellent technical & architecture skills in the context of cloud-based platform/product design, service management and product lifecycle management
·
Demonstrate ability to rapidly learn new and emerging technologies and developing a vision of their suitability and role as a new product within a platform & product landscape
·
Familiar with Enterprise Architecture methods, capability and product roadmap tools that support them
·
Strong working understanding of end user technology with a preference for Microsoft services
·
Experience in building strategic roadmap for Microsoft Cloud Services (Azure, Intune and O365 services)
· High level understanding of how emerging technology like AI, Machine Learning and Automation can have a positive impact into the function.
· Exposure to Microsoft Graph, Power Apps, Flow and PowerBI services
· Expertise in developing technical artifacts for Product Managers and Service Owners
· Develop integrated roadmaps across technology domains.

Good understanding of the financial aspects of the product(s), project delivery and Service Ownership
·
5-10 years’ experience in a Senior Architect or an Enterprise Architect role
Other Requirements:
The role may require minimum travel, participate/lead workshops, coach/lead Architects
Job Requirements:
Education:
Bachelor or Master degree in Information Technology or Business Management
Experience:
Approximately 10 years of experience in a comparable executive leadership role.
Certification Requirements:
TOGAF, Cloud Architect, CITA or O365
