EY Technology supports our technology needs through three business units:

Client Technology (CT) - focuses on developing new technology services for our clients. It enables EY toidentify new technology-based opportunities faster, and pursue those opportunities more rapidly.

Enterprise Workplace Technology (EWT) – EWT supports our Core Business Services functions and will deliver fit-for-purpose technology infrastructure at the cheapest possible cost for quality services. EWT will also support our internal technology needs by focusing on a better user experience.

Information Security (Info Sec) - Info Sec prevents, detects, responds and mitigates cyber-risk, protecting EY and client data, and our information management systems.   

What are you going to do?

The SharePoint developer will be responsible for developing creative solutions to challenging issues associated with design and development for a large customized enterprise SharePoint application.  The successfully candidate will possess solid technical abilities, strong analysis skills, and an excitement and energy for product development and core engineering practices.   They will be a self-starter, effective collaborator, and a strong developer providing technical expertise in SharePoint design and implementation, SharePoint customization, and optimization. They must be delivery focused, while also exhibiting the ability to work on assignments; exercise good judgment in decision-making; meet deadlines; work independently, demonstrate an attention to detail, and be flexible.  



What do we need from you?

·  Minimum of 5 years of experience as solution developer for SharePoint 2013/2016 based projects.
·  Minimum of 3 years "hands-on" experience with SharePoint 2016 in on-premises.
·  Minimum of 1 year developing business workflow solutions built in SharePoint or third party workflow solutions such as Nintex Workflow.
·  Minimum of 3 years' hands-on experience with "hands-on " development of AngularJS customizations using REST API of SharePoint 2013 / 2016 platform, including experience with any of the JavaScript framework like Bootstrap.
·  Minimum of 2 years' hands-on experience with writing provider hosted apps using .NET, SharePoint 2016 Client Side Object Model (CSOM) and SharePoint 2013 REST
·  Minimum of 2 years with Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) and Microsoft SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) is a must. Microsoft SQL Server Analytical Services (SSAS) experience with SharePoint Business Intelligence tools. 
·  Extensive experience in working with third party tools with SharePoint 2016/2013. 
·  Provide technical impact assessment of application requirements
·  Strong knowledge of SharePoint services, Site templates/definitions, master pages, page layouts, JavaScript, jQuery, list/library, web parts, sandbox solutions, client object model, REST API, Search setup, security, throttling and performance tuning 
·  SharePoint 2013 working knowledge of interface/configuration regarding external data sources. 
·  Experience with Power shell, SharePoint Designer and other SharePoint productivity tools. 
·  Experience enhancing basic SharePoint functionality through development 
·  Align with the Enterprise taxonomy term store
·  Participate in Peer Review activities with other groups (DBA / architectures, etc.,) 
·  Work with architects, project managers, and technical leads to define the design of the solutions to address business needs and opportunities
·  Implement best practices and Governance procedures for SharePoint custom solutions
·  Conduct a PoC (Proof of Concept) for MCA (Mission Critical Applications). Participate in the development of SharePoint components (web parts, application pages, page layouts, etc.) for enterprise scale Portal, ECM, and Collaboration solutions
·  Understanding of multiple access and authentication models such as NTLM, Kerberos, Claims-based, ADFS, SSL, card services, TMG, UAG, etc. 
·  The candidate may need to provide examples of their project work, documentation, leadership skills, negotiation, and mentoring skills during the interview process.
·  Strong skillset and experience working with CI/CD pipelines using TFS and Azure DevOps.
·  Working skillset on integrating Automated Function and Performance tests with in TFS/Azure DevOps pipelines
·  Background on automated packaging and deployment of infrastructure and applications via TFS/Azure DevOps pipelines and/or Octopus Deploy
·  Skills and experience in Azure along with scripting and development
·  Experience with application load balancing solutions for scaling and HA is a plus
·  Understanding of firewalls, NAT and packet filtering and DNS
·  Flexibility in scheduling with a willingness to work extra non-standard hours on occasion
·  Ability to work well within a multi-disciplinary, multi-cultural, global team structure, but also independently
·  Experience in working in waterfall, scrum and kanban projects as well as in DevSecOps model
·  Able to demonstrate analytical and systematic approach to problem solving
·  Good appreciation of wider field of information systems, its use in relevant employment areas and how it relates to the business activities of the employer or client.
·  Ability to make key decisions as they relate to service disruptions and problems
·  Ability to plan, schedule and monitor work activities in order to meet time and quality targets
·  Ability to rapidly absorb new technical information, business acumen, and apply it effectively
