SharePoint Developer Job Duties
SharePoint Developer responsibilities include requirements analysis, design, development, testing, deploying, training and supporting SharePoint solutions. Also includes analytics capabilities being delivered for the solutions.
Responsibilities
·
Collaborate with all stakeholders e.g. Product Owners, Business Analysts and Test Analysts in analysing, developing, testing and deploying of systems components (new/improved).
·
Develop SharePoint solutions to solve business problems.
·
Implementing and deploying custom SharePoint features to enhance out of box SharePoint functionality.
·
Convert business requirements into technical solutions using the appropriate and applicable SharePoint web part(s) using a combination of workflows and Web Development technologies.
·
Utilizing Visual Studio for implementing local and enterprise wide enhancements and features.
·
Interpret architectural design.
·
Help with end user training.
·
Provide first/second/third line support for SharePoint solutions.
·
Assist with technical documentation and user manuals.
·
Ability to work alongside Analysts and Architects to integrate and propose viable solutions to business.
·
Provide technical guidance to teammates through coaching and mentorship.
·
Develop, Refine and tune integrations between other applications.
Requirements
Essential Requirements:
·
Computer Science related degree, diploma or similar qualification.
·
Minimum of 2-4 years’ experience.
·
Proficient in HTML/ CSS/ JavaScript/ jQuery/ Bootstrap.
·
Software: CAML, CSOM, JSOM
·
Experience working in SharePoint 2013/2016/Online environment.
·
Extensive experience with workflow environment including SharePoint 2013 Workflow platform and custom forms using InfoPath.
·
Experience with Agile development methodologies including Scrum.
·
Knowledge of the following:
·
Office 365
·
SharePoint APIs
·
SharePoint Reporting Infrastructure
Advantageous Requirements:
·
Microsoft Certifications.
·
Experience implementing and deploying custom SharePoint features to enhance out of box SharePoint functionality.
·
Experience building and implementing reporting using Excel, PowerBI, PowerPivot and SSRS in SharePoint.
·
3rd party integrations.
·
Databases: MS SQL Server.
·
Knowledge of the following:
·
·
UML
·
TypeScript
