Workflow Platform – Delivery DevelopmentLead
JobSummary :
A ServiceNowDeveloper in EY Technologies/ Client Technology is responsible for configuring,administering and scripting new workflow on the ServiceNow platform. The role works in an Agile delivery team withother members to develop and enable technical solutions that satisfy theneeds a variety of EY’s business process. The role must be able to deliver workproduct required by Agile development methodologies for software developmentdelivery as defined by the Delivery Lead.
EssentialFunctions of the Job:
· PerformsConfiguration/Customization of the ServiceNow system, including creationworkflows
· Buildsservice request fulfillment workflow from customer requirements including requests,request items and tasks using workflows, UI actions, client scripts, businessrules, etc
· Usesscripting tools and Service Now functionality to automate rote tasks
· Performsintegrations and process automation using Orchestration, Web Services, Soapcalls,etc.
· Gathersspecifications from the business departments and delivers a product/releasethat meets the needs presented. Interprets business and functional requirementsand develops technical specifications documentation
· Load,manipulate and maintain data between Service-now and other systems as needed
· Developdashboards, home pages, performance analytics data collectors and reports asneeded
· Mustanalyze and fully understand user stories and internal procedures in order toimprove system capabilities, automate process workflows and addressscheduling limitations throughout the development and delivery of theServiceNow releases
· Performssystem and integration testing with sample and live data
Analytical/DecisionMaking Responsibilities:
The rolerequires a strong analytical acumen and solution. Utilizes knowledge in ServiceNow and other productsand services to make role appropriate decisionsincluding the efficient handling of all work requests as well as determine effectiveways to address service delivery concerns. The role additionally requires consultative questioning, influencemanagement and critical thinking skills to understand a current problem orincident and recommend viable technical solutions that are both effective andsupporting the value to the business.
Knowledgeand Skills Requirements:
Knowledgeof:
· Authentication protocolssuch as Active Directory / LDAP or Siteminder federation /Azure
· Disciplined Agile Delivery softwarerelease build/deploy processes
· Integrating with internaland external applications and systems
· Cross-browser and platformcompatibility requirements
· Javascript, HTML, CMS andgood web design practices
· TFS as an Agiledocumentation repository
Ability to:
· Effectively communicate withall levels of the organization globally
· Demonstrate analytical andproblem solving skills
· Successfully design,develop, and support web-based applications and websites
· Interface and develop withJava/J2EE backend technologies
· Work on multiple overlappingprojects
· Work as a part of an Agiledelivery team

The role may also require the periodic allocation ofadditional time on the job to support multiple demands and escalating issuesand some travel to support change or planned project activities.

Education:
College degree in related technology field (Computer,Engineering, Science, etc.) or comparable job experiences
Experience:
Approximately5 to 8 years of experience in a development role. Able to exhibit aprogression of increasingly complex job responsibilities during the period.
