Our Performance Improvement team is focused on helping clients improve business performance and operational efficiency while managing risk. We help clients by delivering assessment, transformation and process efficiency solutions in specialty areas like finance, supply chain, customer, people and organization change, strategic direction, and program management

We currently are seekingfor a senior – Customer Advisory, Financial Services team member.  You will contribute technically to Customer client engagements and internal projects. An important part of your role will be to actively establish, maintain and strengthen internal and external relationships. You'll also identify potential business opportunities for EY within existing engagements, and escalate these as appropriate. Similarly, you'll anticipate and identify risks within engagements and share any issues with senior members of the team.

Client Responsibilities
·  Participate in Customer engagements primarily focussed on Banking
·  Work effectively as a team member, sharing responsibility, providing support, maintaining communication, and updating senior team members on progress
·  Help prepare reports and schedules that will be delivered to clients and other parties
·  Develop and maintain productive working relationships with client personnel
·  Build strong internal relationships within EY’s Advisory Services and with other services across the organization

People  Responsibilities
·  Conduct performance reviews and contribute to performance feedback for staff
·  Contribute to people-related initiatives including recruiting and retaining Customer professionals
·  Maintain an educational program to continually develop personal skills of staff
·  Understand and follow workplace policies and procedures

Technical Skills Requirements
·  You'll have knowledge and experience of a number of the following areas:
·  Customer strategy, including customer experience and customer operating model
·  Sales and channel management, including sales force and marketing effectiveness, bid management effectiveness and channel optimization
·  Customer service improvement, including customer service performance improvement, customer service recovery and contact centre optimization
·  Customer intelligence and economics, including customer acquisition and retention, account and channel segmentation
·  You will have an understanding and experience with Analytics and Data Modeling
 
Qualifications
·  Outstanding academic record including a bachelor's degree ( if specialism is customer strategy, this should ideally be a marking degree or an MBA; if specialism is customer intelligence and economics, this should ideally be a numerate degree) and approximately 2 years of related work experience.
·  A post-graduate degree and/or a professional designation is an asset.
·  Experience in the banking industry and in SAS and knowledge of Tableau is an asset.
·  Must have have advanced excel skills and the to perform financial anlaysis
·  Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment (and know when to lead and when to follow).
·  Experience on multiple projects and providing direction to team members.
·  Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
·  Excellent communications skills including oral, written, and presentation.
·  A high level of motivation and a self-starting attitude.
·  An ability to think outside of the box, and thrive on new challenges.
·  A willingness to travel on short notice to meet client needs; travel is estimated at 50-70%.
